Liana Sourcing Group is a trade name (DBA) of MTE27 ("Liana," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through lianasourcinggroup.com (the "Site"), our client reorder portal, and our related communications, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We are a business-to-business sourcing company. We collect only what we need to respond to you, prepare cost comparisons and quotes, and serve our clients. We do not sell your information.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Quote and cost comparison requests. Your name, company, email address, phone number, industry, and the products you want priced, including quantities, specifications, and what you currently pay.
- Client reorder portal. Your access code, the items and quantities you request, pricing information you choose to share, product links, notes, and any product photos you upload.
- Communications. Information you include when you email, call, or message us, such as order details, specifications, delivery information, and other contact details you provide.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, or health information). We do not need it to provide our services.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of the visit. This is used to operate and secure the Site.
- Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or tracking cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
2. How We Use Information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare your cost comparison and quote.
- To source, order, and coordinate production, quality control, and delivery of products for our clients.
- To process reorder and new-item requests from clients through the reorder portal.
- To communicate with clients about their orders and account.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
If you contact us for a cost comparison and do not become a client, we use your information only to respond to that request. We keep ongoing contact information only for businesses that become our clients, and only to serve that relationship. We do not use your information for advertising or send marketing to people who are not clients.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to provide our services:
- Manufacturers and logistics providers. To fulfill an order, we share with the manufacturer and the freight, shipping, or logistics providers handling it only the information they need for that order, or the information you have provided for that purpose (for example, product specifications, quantities, and delivery and contact details). The manufacturer may contact you directly about your order and will issue its invoice directly to you.
- Service providers. Companies that provide services to us under contract, including website hosting and form processing (Netlify), business email (Microsoft 365), and cloud document storage for the reorder portal (Google). They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
- Legal and safety. When required by law or legal process, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Liana, our clients, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not share your contact information with any partner or affiliate, including PrivaSweep, for their own marketing.
4. International Transfers
We work with manufacturers outside the United States, including in China. When we fulfill an order, the information needed for that order may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in those countries, which may have data protection laws different from those where you are located.
5. How Long We Keep Information
- Inquiries that do not become clients. We keep this information only as long as needed to respond and complete the requested comparison, then delete it.
- Clients. We keep client contact and order information for as long as we have a business relationship, and afterward as long as needed for record-keeping, tax, legal, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Server logs. These are kept by our hosting provider according to its standard retention practices.
6. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, including access controls on our accounts and access codes for the reorder portal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing chris@lianasourcinggroup.com or cherry@lianasourcinggroup.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. California residents have additional rights described in our California Privacy Notice.
Global Privacy Control. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no further action is needed.
8. Third-Party Links
The Site links to third-party websites, including PrivaSweep, of which we are an affiliate. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. Information you provide to a third-party site is governed by that site's policy.
9. Children
The Site and our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let clients know.
